Our Wisconsin Ice Age Scenic Trail map contains 112 segments that stretch the state of Wisconsin. This map is made up of 2 layers, giving this map a 3D effect, each layer is laser cut from high quality Baltic birch plywood. The backing layer can be stained in one of our 6 stain color choices and the top layers (map, compass, title) are left in the natural wood tone of the Baltic birch giving an enhanced pop of contrasting colors! The laser engraved counties make up the State of Wisconsin, along with each Ice Age Trail segment being a cutout for the yellow markers to fit in too. Each segment is laser engraved into the stained backing piece, being represented by a number for each location. Each segment can be marked off with a small yellow rectangle, to visually, "check off" each segment hiked! The name plaques and mammoth compass, are also laser engraved and cut out giving a 3D effect as well. These layers are then glued together using high quality glue, and placed into a professional, mitered cornered 1.5" frame made of pine and stained in the color of your choosing. A metal sawtooth hanger is attached for easy installation.
